Dal and The Iron Factory

- A story of  a dying village -

Once upon a time
A man named Daniel
Wanted to be a rich man
Like every man would have
He thought
Iron would be good

By loaning a lot of gold
Built he an iron factory
On the greatest island
In the whole kingdom
Everyone sailing past
Would stop here

And so happened
That the Dal's Iron Factory
Started to grow
But not fast enough
Not at all
Thought the gold owners

Times chanced
And dozens of times
Did the owners of the iron factory chance
But iron wasn't so precious anymore

And little by little
The small village
That had grown around
The once so great factory
Started to die

For many centuries now
Has the factory been quiet
And the children of the factory
Have been waiting
The golden times
Come once again

And the village once so great
Now taken over by nature
Is still calling itself
The Dal's Iron Factory

With Daniel long gone
Iron turn in to steel
And the factory decaying
It rings
Like a hollow wish
From the grave
